The 40th Post

I was typing the 40th post in the library last week and the cpu shut down by itself so this by right should be the 41th post...


Sec 3 can make you "holy" (cos it gets the hell out of u) (this is not religionism)...

1st week and oredy so busy like ur brain abt to burst. I wonder how our seniors make it to Sec4

For Maths I'm in the SMO training class and its taught by Prof Xu, a Chinese national who teaches using English and elaborates with Chinese.

For me, understanding hime is a bit of problem as my maths is not that good and I need to pay very close attention to Prof Xu's lecture as he speaks vr fast in a Chinese accent...

Glad that the exercises can get me to know about the stuff better...

Tuesdays have never became more hateful.

Malay until 6 forces me to skip the only indoor prac-day of the week...

Have to learn the CNY songs all by myself

At least the songs are quite easy ("quite" here being a relative term)

Attended the Kashiwa Municipal Band concert in Esplanade kast Friday.

Man it was FANTASTIC

No wonder they say that it's one of the best bands in Japan

The balance of sound and the tunings and the tone and the whole of the music... it was nice!

They even have visuals for most of the songs: while playing, they have people dancing on the stage; the players also danced; they have gimmicks, etc etc

One song was the korean folk song Ariran. They even have dancers with oriental fans and those head spinners with a long piece of cloth (or string) on their head and they spin and spin and spin for dunno how long.

They can even walk straight to the backstage...

It was so WOW!

That's really entertainment...

Hope that our sch can be like them...

But that's just hope...

They have about one fifth of the school in the band (thousand plus in sch, 200+ band members)...

That's just impossible in HCI...
